Infra-red vests deliver Far infra red (FIR) which is the invisible rays of natural sunlight that has longest wavelength.  It is radiant energy that penetrates down to 4cm below the skin level. 

This radiant energy is different from heat conduction (Thermogenic effect) that heats up the superficial layers and causes sweating, which further dehydrates the myofascia network. 

Far infra-red reaches deeper layers of myofascia, reduces the viscosity and the flow of interstitial fluid (Thixotropic effect), and improves the tensional strength of the myofascia network.  In addition, the Thixotropic effect is able to bypass the Superficial Thixotropic shielding created by Thermogenic effect. 

For homogenous structures such as honey and chocolate fudge, the Thermogenic effect is directly proportional to the Thixotropic effect.  However, our human body is heterogeneous and therefore the Thermogenic effect is different from the Thixotropic effect. 

The ABR Infra red vests facilitate the change of vertebral column; from a whitish appearance in an X-ray to a greyish appearance, and from lack of space between vertebral discs to greater spaces between the discs. Using it a few hours a day has proven to be very effective in this facilitation of the vertebral column.

The Far Infra Red Vest was designed to have sizes that provide a skin-tight fit for most body types to get direct access to the spine. The vest was also equipped to be entirely portable so that children and adults alike can use it when on the run (or stuck in a traffic jam).
